LAHORE: Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi visited Mandi Bahauddin and laid floral wreath on the grave of martyred SSP Ashraf Marth in Sagharpur village near Syedpur.
Chief Secretary Punjab Zahidi Akhtar Zaman and IG Police Dr. Usman Anwar were also with the Chief Minister. Chief Secretary and IGP also laid flowers on the grave of martyred police officer Ashraf Marth. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi recited Fatiha for martyred SSP Ashraf Marth.
The armed police team saluted the martyred police officer Ashraf Marth. Paying homage to the martyred police officer Ashraf Marth’s great sacrifice, the Chief Minister said that police officer Ashraf Marth achieved the high status of martyrdom.
Shaheed Ashraf Marth was the first police officer of the Police Service of Pakistan who martyred himself due to the target killing of terrorists. Chief Minister said that Shaheed Ashraf Marth is alive in our hearts and will remain forever. The eternal sacrifice of Shaheed Ashraf Marth will never be forgotten.
