On Thursday, three people were killed and four were seriously injured in the firing in the parking lot of Tehsil Court Phalia.
The report of the channel said that the firing incident took place in the parking lot of Tehsil Court Phalia area of Sandhanwala. The reason behind the killing of three people is old enmity. Two parties were in the court in connection with the hearing of the case, and one party started firing at the other. The other side retaliated.
As a result of which 3 people were killed as a result of cross firing between the two sides. Among those killed in the firing incident are the driver, a passer-by and the gate keeper of Tehsil Courts. Four people were also injured in the firing.
The channel further informed that the condition of the injured is critical and one injured Javed Iqbal has been referred to Gujrat. A heavy police force led by DPO Mandi Bahauddin reached the spot. Rescue 1122 shifted the injured and dead to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Phalia for medical and legal proceedings.
Meanwhile, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Syed Mohsin Naqvi has taken notice of the firing incident in Phalia Katchary. The Chief Minister has asked Inspector General Police Punjab for a report on the firing incident. The Chief Minister ordered that the accused should be immediately arrested and action should be taken according to the law.
He further directed that no effort should be spared in providing justice to the heirs of the deceased.
