Rain lashed in Mandi Bahauddin

Rain poured down in several areas across the country including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Lahore making the weather nippy on Monday. Rain lashed Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Mandi Bahauddin, Abbottabad and Attock.

Many upper areas of the country including Swat, Malam Jabba, Tirah, Babusar Top, Thuk, Dariyal Tangir and many Azad Kashmir cities received snowfall. With rain and snow hitting these areas, the weather has turned cold and the people living there have started migrating to warmer places.

The connecting roads in Thal Kalkot Lamoti in Upper Dir have been closed due to severe snowfall and people have been stuck in their homes. Children could not go to schools. According to the Pakistan Metrological Department, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall on mountains with gusty winds and thundershowers in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
