Five policemen, including the Station House Officer of Malakwal police station in Mandi Bahauddin, have been suspended on charges of bribery, illegal detention and violence against a citizen.
Action was taken after the citizen lodged a complaint with the IGP who ordered an inquiry to the Regional Police Officer of Gujranwala. Five police officials were found guilty in the RPO inquiry.
According to which Mandi Bahauddin District Police Officer Raza Safdar Kazmi has suspended SHO Malikwal SI Muhammad Nawaz, SI Mubashir Lak, ASI Yakub and policemen Shaiqur Rehman and Waqas Anjum.
