Advertiser who fled abroad was arrested on return home

The Punjab Police arrested the Pro-Official Offender (PO) involved in the murder case at the airport while returning from abroad. A team of Special Operation Cell of Punjab Police has put the name of accused Shoaib Amjad in Provisional National Identity List (PNIL), police said here on Sunday.

The accused was arrested during record checking at the airport. He was handed over to Mandi Bahauddin police for further action. “So far 117 A-category ad criminals have been arrested from various countries and airports,” the police said.

Inspector General of Police Punjab congratulated the concerned team for continuous follow-up to arrest the dangerous A category criminal. The IGP directed that the accused should be punished after completing the legal process and efforts should be made to arrest other ad criminals who are absconding abroad, focusing on scientific evidence-based investigation.
