Punjab Police raided former Federal Minister Omar Ayub residence in Haripur and arrested his servant in his absence.
According to the details, Haripur police raided the house of former federal minister Omar Ayub along with women officials and after finding him missing, completed the search operation and detained his personal employee.
The police also raided the houses of Omar Ayub brothers and former provincial ministers Yusuf Ayub, Akbar Ayub and Arshad Ayub. However, none of them were present at their respective residences.
Police and ACE teams shifted him to an undisclosed location. Corruption cases have been registered against the PTI president in Mandi Bahauddin and Gujranwala.

Earlier this month, PTI President Pervez Elahi was arrested by Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) officials and a police team from his residence Zahoor Palace in Lahore.
Senior politicians did not appear in court despite cancellation of bail. ACE and police officers have raided the PTI president’s residence several times since his bail was cancelled.
Police say that a case has been registered against Parvez Elahi under various provisions including ATA. He further said that he was wanted by the police after his bail was cancelled. “After the ACE, the police will take action against Parvez Elahi,” he said.
After the arrest, Parvez was transferred to ACE Lahore Region Farid Kot House.
